MISSIONAL FUNDING STRATEGY
Our ambition is to make the resources of THE EMMAUS TABLE available to anyone anywhere with an internet connection. To that end, our content is funded through donations and any royalties earned from streaming platforms before being released according to our FREE & FREE FOREVER policy. All contributors to TET have legally renounced their intellectual and publishing copyrights to projects produced under TET, including publishing royalties for our songs and the like.* Eliminating the pay wall in this way allows us to prioritize “prophetic integrity” (i.e., fidelity to even unpopular elements of the Gospel of the Kingdom) over any potential profit margin. SUBMISSION & ACCOUNTABILITY
THE EMMAUS TABLE is not a church. It is not even our church. But we soberly recognize the weight of serving the Body of Jesus and require all Board members, Editorial Advisors, and Contributors to live in submitted accountability to peers and elders through local fellowships in their own lives and locations. Violations of biblical civil, sexual, and/or leadership ethics will result in removal from any roles in THE EMMAUS TABLE.

We acknowledge that in immaturity and/or wickedness, members of THE EMMAUS TABLE will err against and even wound each other. We also acknowledge some issues (interpersonal conflict) present scenarios wherein healthy conflict resolution following the Scriptural precepts outlined in Matthew 5 and Matthew 18 are appropriate. However, situations involving emotional, spiritual, and/or sexual abuse require a different approach immediately integrating and involving victim advocates. In these scenarios, whistleblowers are encouraged to pursue the Operational Team and Board of Directors for assistance, as feels most comfortable/appropriate. This may be done in tandem with outside pastoral figures, counselors, and/or legal authorities (as each situation calls for in its own contextual consideration).

As stated, THE EMMAUS TABLE is not a church or local fellowship. It is a resource ministry designed to serve bondservants and burgeoning disciples of Jesus to mature in obedience to our Master according to the Good News of His Kingdom. Our resources are deliberately designed to facilitate small group fellowships, but can easily be used for personal study or as a resource for a local church. All our resources are available according to our FREE & FREE FOREVER policy.

While many of our team originate or live in the Western world, we acknowledge and honor the global diversity in the Body of Jesus. To this end, we have integrated a multinational translation team in our early workflow to make resources available in a number of languages as they are published.
